She is very determined, and sometimes narrow minded when it comes to doing things she knows she has to. HISTORY Lottie was born on March 13th to a very well known Southern family. She was the high light of her parents life and they did everything the girl wanted from them. She would spend her days running around on the lands her father owned and being a general tom boy. Her father grew horrified that his perfect daughter wouldn’t be the perfect Belle that he wanted. So he started to put her in pageants and ballet lessons. She hated every minute in the spot light, but saw how happy it made her parents. A bit of a pressure for a five year old.

When Charlotte was seven, she was trying to hide her brand new dress from her mother so she would be able to miss a dance lesson and stay home for a weekend with her friends from school. Her mother was looking all over for the dress and couldn’t seem to find it. Charlotte watched it drop down from the top of her dresser and fade into a silver fabric and then disappear. Her mother screamed at a house keeper for losing the dress and Charlotte was allowed to attend a local girl’s birthday party.

At the age of eleven, strange thing kept happening to Charlotte, she would be able to leap higher during her dancing, dance for longer and not feel tired after. She knew that something was special about her. She never told her parents about this, but confided in her favorite nanny. The woman was a witch and knew that Charlotte was as well. The nanny started to teach her about magic in secret, little lessons when her parents weren’t home. The nanny, Lillianna, knew about how closed minded Lottie’s parents were and knew they would never let the blonde live to her full potential.

One night, when Lottie was studying her History of Magic text book (a gift from Lillianna), her mother broke the door down and screamed at her for being a freak. Turns out, Lillianna told her parents what they were and expected William and Olivia to welcome a witch into the family with open arms. Lilli was severely mistaken. William and Olivia kicked their only child out of the family home and told her to live with Lilli since she obviously preferred her company. Lottie managed to gather her ballet shoes and as many of her text books and emergency funds as she could before Olivia dragged her out by her long blonde hair.

Lottie and Lilli moved to New Orleans to stay with Lilli’s family until they could get a place of their own. Since Lilli was still a religious woman, she enrolled Charlotte into a Catholic School for her formal education, with some magic lessons when dinner was finished. Charlotte would often get in trouble with Mother Superior for various reasons, sometimes dozing off in class, sometimes playing doctor with the little boys. Charlotte was always a true belle and loved being in the company of a gentleman. Even if they were eight and exchanging glances down each others pants.

Lottie started to love dance more after that, since it was her choice to do it and was no longer being forced. Lilli attended all of her recitals and always introduced herself as Charlotte’s mother. When Lottie was thirteen, Hurricane Katrina hit her home and she lost everything. Lillianna took her to a safe house and the two of them were completely safe.

Lilli had family in Mississippi, which is where they moved to after that. They have a decent home, Lilli working as a house keeper and Charlotte teaching ballet in the summer to a group of five year old girls. William has been sending money for his daughter, but Lilli never touches it. Any money from Charlotte’s father goes into a trust fund for the girl. So she’ll be able to have a life after graduation.

At the age of fourteen, Charlotte was sent up North for Salem Institute of Witchcraft. She never quite got used to the cold weather, and she really doesn’t like snow. But she wants to get good at using her magic so she can make Lilli proud. She writes to her adoptive mother every week, just to let her know that she’s behaving well. Charlotte wants to go professional with her dancing and spends any spare time practicing and attempting to make herself better.
