Carrera - one of her favorite characters, insipration behind her tattoo, some similar traits. Once you get past that then, She’s unusually kind and caring, especially when it pertains to her sister. Mercedes may not take the greatest care of herself, but has done everything she could to keep her sister from walking down the same path she’s chosen to. She’s always put others ahead of herself, though it wont stop her from playful flirting or anything, she finds her past dark and depressing, so now she only wants to have fun, and that’s her idea of it.

HAIR By nature, her hair is a really dark brown/black color, that she always wear long, but being a metamorphous, its subject to change at will.
EYES Her eyes are naturally a slightly darker shade of brown, and she really likes them, but she cant help but make them other colors, mainly choosing a darker red that still seems to shine in bright light.
SKIN TONE Generally, she sfairly white unless shes been in the sun for a while or something, in which case she might have a light tan.
BUILD Roughly how tall are they, how much do they weigh (make it a realistic number people!). Are they lean and lanky, or are they stout and muscular? What is their posture like?
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES Mercedes has a piercing in each of her ears, and rarely wears any earrings that dangle or can be easily grabbed. What’s most noticeable and permanent is the tattoo on her chest. (really bad sketch or image coming soon). Only other thing that distinguishes her usually is her choice in eye color or hair color since she’s a metamorphous.
ATTIRE Her taste in clothes is varies, but is at times very exotic. Her, her mom, and her sister are all very good at sewing, and with her being into anime and all so much, she makes some of her own clothes to match those in the shows. She tries to be a little normal by wearing jeans, skirts, shorts, tank tops, and any other top she can think of, but it doesn’t stop her from wearing something shes made herself just as much as she wears something normal. Though, typically, she wears the shortest things possible, so about the only time you see her dress somewhat proper is with some of the hand made outfits and in winter.

HISTORY Mercedes was born to what at the time was a loving family, where the biggest debate was over what she was going to be named. Her father worked in a car factory, her mom stayed at home because her father had a real jealousy issue. But slowly but surely, after her sister Rati was born, her dad started to get more distant and stay away from home more and more. And when he did come home, he was usually drunk, or got angry at the kids over the littlest things. Needless to say at one time she couldn’t hear anything that sounded like a belt without flinching. Her mother managed to stand up for herself after a very bad night of him mistreating her and the kids, decided to divorce him. Though, as much as she hated it, the judge said that they had to spend time with there father.

Her mom had to go back to her old job as a performer in an “exotic entertainment club”. and while she usually tried to get someone to take care of them, she did have to bring them to her place of work just as often, doing her best to keep them just in the back dressing area. One could say how she acts now is because of that, but she and her younger sister both deny that’s the reason. Instead they pin it on the fact her father found out in his drunken state, and as he so eloquently put it. “If shes gonna take you there to learn how to be whores, then I might as well treat you two like’em” Thankfully after teat horrific night, they never had to see there father again because they threw him in prison for every charge they could think of. But it only makes Mercedes feel a little better. She actually doesn’t care about the fact of what he did to her, as much as she cares that he went after her sister as well. She’d have let him do what he wanted to her and never told as long as he left Rati alone.

She later found out that her father was a wizard when she got a letter for the school in her hometown. Though, the woman her mom lived with now was in absolute shock since she was a muggle and had no idea at all about it, where as at least her mom knew because she had been married to her father. It was up there she finally felt a little safer, and learned she was a metamorphous when she woke up with the wrong hair color, thinking it had been a prank at first. But when she went to have it fixed, none of the means of doing so worked till they told her to think about it being the right color and it went back to normal. She should be a senior, especially seeing as she’s a lot smarter then she acts, but her “extracurricular activities”, as the school put it in the letter seemed to interfere with her work. Or as she simply told her mom who was surprisingly understanding, “That work was so boring, and the sex wasn’t, I learned more in bed then in class.”
